Western Spirit welcomes you to our forum. We are a Western Style Role Playing Games, based off the Fictional Lincoln County from the movie Chisum. No, we are not asking for canons, but if you have seen the John Wayne Movie, you are more then welcome to bring in characters from that movie, but please no other. Thank You and Please read the rules below.

( THE RULES OF THE LAND OF THE LAW )
001.

Please read all of the rules, they are important, weather you like it or not.

002.

The rules can change, be prepared for that.

003.

After reading the rules, please make your character. One character per account, which helps organize it.

004.

Follow the forum given for the character and make sure everything is checked, spelling and grammer wise.

005.

Your character can be either a White Man/Woman or Native American. You can also have Mexicans or any other race. Why? Because even in this time, we had people from other countries coming and then coming west.

006.

Archives will be updated monthly, or when a post is finished. The site will be cleaned up once a month and then the threads moved here, this includes dead profiles, which can be adopted.

007.

If you adopt a dead profile, you have to repost and modify is some way or another. This will be checked.

008.

The staff board is for the staff members to talk about the site and try and make things better.

009.

Staff are to be respected! You listen to them, they are higher power then you and know what they are doing. Staff has to respect you too and if they don't, then tell me and I will deal with them.
010.

Check out the Story Board, some people request characters and you might want to play one. Talk to the person requesting and get ideas from them and then add your own flavor.

( ROLE PLAYING )

001.

There is a word count of one hundred(100) words. I don't want to see one liners or small post being given to large post and well written. That is a insult in my opinion.

002.

You can post anywhere you want and you can have multiple threads with one character, however, try to keep information and what has happened straight. If you mess up, it will confuse you and the other.

003.

Powerplaying is not allowed! God Mode is not allowed! Perfect Characters are not ALLOWED! You can't control other character, you are not allow powerful and your character will have flaws! Weather they are mental, physical, or just a simple anger problem or can handle certain things, then that is that.

004.

Want a Ranch? Well, you can just bring a new person to the west and say I have a ranch, your gonna either need help or have money. Go to one of the other ranches and get some help from them and earn some money.

005.

If you are a Native, you don't normally go into Lincoln County, unless you want to be insulted or have trouble caused around you. Be careful where you place you character, bad things can happen.

006.

Herding is very important and even the Natives do it. Remember, things happen on a cattle drive, so don't make the ride perfect, have some problems caused, or the Admin will give you a random problem.

007.

Do some research on your character and the time period, it will help with things going on.

008.

Some people are a bit more powerful in the western world then others, so if you know they are important, be careful when causing problems.

009.

This site is rated PG-13 and if you start getting mature, guess what, fade in and fade out. Because of the upped pressure from Proboards Support to keep things PG 13, we have to enforce this rule. I don't want to see it, that is for sure, and I don't want to see perverts.

010.

When posting! Use Bold Letters for your characters talking and Italic for thoughts. If you put the other characters speech into your post, then Italic those also. You can put color if you want. Have fun with it.
