Rosalind is a tall beautiful woman. her blond hair reaches down to her hips. She it is soft as silk and shines like it as well. her green eyes are almost always filled with laughter. Her favorite caller is blue and those are the color of her dresses that she tends to wear. The ends of the dress stop just above her ankles. Her shoes are very sensible. They are meant for people who spend allot of time on there feet.
Around Rosalinda's neck is a silver necklace that ends in a heart shaped locket. Inside is a picture of a young handsome man. She wears very little make up and thinks those who where allot are good for nothing whores. Who just want a good time with the men. Her hair is usually kept up in a bun and is pinned in place with silver pins and broaches. But every once in a while you will see her with her hair down. but that is a very rare occasion. The palms of her hands are rather callused from working outside so much. There is a scar that runs down her right let. But you will never see it for her clothes always cover it. Her life hasn't bean an easy one and there are a few other scars but small and minor compared to the one on her leg.

Rosa is a very gentle and caring person. She has no kids of her own and has never bean married. Though she loves the children that she teaches as if they where her own. She has never truly gotten over her lost love and wish's to find him. She has traveled back to her old home once she was old enough to travel and pay for it herself. But Kyle and his family had moved away. She mourns for the loss of Kyle silently. She never shows her true feelings. She allows herself to show only joy and happiness. Her family believes he has gotten over him and do not even know that the locket was a gift from him. hey have seen her wear it but think it is just a piece of jewelry she likes. Rosalinda has only a few things she wish's to do as much as finding kyle. And that is to open a school and and orphanage to help the children who do not have a family.
Rosa rarely ever get's angry. For there are only a few things that will make her angry. When she sees a child who is being abused by there family, or a child homeless on the street she will grow angry. She will take in any homeless child into her home and care for them. She strongly wants to open an Orphanage so that the children will have an actual place to live. One other thing makes her angry and that is when men come up to her and feel her up. She will not hold back from smacking a man who so much as try's to touch her other than shaking her hand in welcome.

Rosalinda didn't always live in Lincoln County. Rosa grew up in a small town called Wyoming County. It was down south close to Georgia. She lived there for the first sixteen years of her life. Before her and her family moved to Lincoln County. But that is later on let me tell you a story of a young girl and a lost love.
Rosalinda was the eldest of three siblings including her twin sister Danielle. For the first ten years things where great. they helped there parents and did there chores as well as went to school and did her homework. Rosalinda and Danielle where as close as two sisters cold be. When she was eight years old a new family moved in town next door. They had one son named Kyle. Kyle and Rosalinda became fast friends and where rarely apart. They helped one another with chores and homework. Though even through there friendship Danielle and Rosa where still close. As she grew older she began to fall for Kyle O'Ryan. When she was about fifteen Kyle began to court her. Which was to say they began to date or what they called dating. {back than} For a year they courted until Rosalinda got the news that her family was moving. Rosa begged to let her stay and live with the O'Ryans. But there parents would hear nothing of it. On the day they where to leave. Rosalinda and kyle met for a fraction of a minute alone with out anyone watching to say goodbye. They kissed for the first time and Kyle gave her the Silver locket she still wears today with a picture of him in it. And she gave him a picture of herself. She shed tears and turned running away from her first true love never knowing if she would ever see him again.
The ride to the west was not an easy one. Her father drove a carriage pulled bye four horses. There where others that traveled with them them put in there own carriage. About half way from there home there was a death in there family. There mother died from an illness and her sister Mary nearly died as well. But thankfully there was a doctor traveling with them and he was able to save there sister. Though her sister was week for months after wards. Rosa and Daniella did most of the chores while there sister was sick. It was hard to bury there mother and leave her behind when they continued on. At last after months of traveling they reached the west. They heard of a town called Lincoln County and traveled the rest of the way there with a few others. Here her father went to the bank and loaned some money and began his own ranch. Life didn't get any easier for the four of them. There father had to work hard to support his three kids. And Rosalinda had to be like the mother cooking and cleaning. Mary never truly got better after her illness on the way there. She ended up dying about a year after they got to Lincoln County. It was hard to bury there sister for she was so young. Life when on for the time being.
At the age of eighteen a school teacher arrived in Lincoln Country. After meeting Ms. Lewis. She became fascinated about teaching and wished to become a teacher as well. For the next two years she went to classes with the teacher to watch what she did. She did this for three years. After three years of learning from Ms. Lewis she decided to try and go back to her home. She had bean saving up what money she made since she got to Lewis County and now had enough money for a train ride to her hometown and back. She left in the middle of August. It didn't take nearly as long to get back home but it still took days. When she arrived she hired a man to take her to Kyles house. It had bean five years since he had seen Kyle and was hoping he still lived there if not that his parents knew where he lived. But when she arrived a new family was living there. They said that Kyle and his family had moved four years ago. It broke her heart to know that she may never see Kyle again. She headed for a hotel where she staid for three days before she boarded the train and headed back home. When she got back home the news of her teacher's death was another blow. She took over teaching the classes and saved up the money she earned from it. After three years of teaching she finally had enough money to buy a small home just outside of the town. She continued to teach but never married for she had never found another that she loved.
That is Rosalinda's story. Sad but true. Will the two ever see each other again? has Kyle moved on and married and forgotten Rosalinda. Will Rosalinda ever be able to move on?

Rosa sat outside her small country home and looked out over the yard. It was a beautiful morning about sixty five degrees and it was only going to get warmer. The sun was just starting to rise in the east casting it's oranges, pinks and reds across the sky. It was a beautiful sunrise. The morning was her favorite time of day. Rosa loved to get up early before most people are even up yet and watch the sun rise. After the colors in the sky began to fade Rosa got up and dusted her dress off before heading inside and starting breakfast. She was only cooking for herself so she didn't need much some scrambled eggs and toast with maybe a slice of bacon or two and she was good. After eating breakfast she headed outside. She had chores to do before heading into town. She went to the chicken coup. She had a dozen chickens three roosters and a few baby chickens. She fed them and gave them fresh water. She didn't live on a ranch but she still liked fresh eggs in the morning. After that she walked over to her solitary cow and began to milk her. She made all her own milk and butter. She figured once she got married if she ever got married they would get a ranch. But until than this was her life. And she was quite happy.
