Luke McKillian( JUST THE BASICS )
( NAME ) Luke Cole McKillian ( NICKNAME ) Killian ( AGE ) eighteen ( GENDER ) male ( RACE ) Irish ( OCCUPATION ) Currently a Tinker, or if need be thief for hire
( THE OUTSIDE )
( HAIR ) Dark Brown ( EYES ) Steel Blue ( SKIN TONE ) Light Tan ( HEIGHT ) Five feet seven inches ( WEIGHT ) One hundred and fourty eight pounds. ( OVERALL ) Taking a quick glance at Luke, you find yourself faced with a willowy young lad with a body built for stamina, and quick movements. His muscles are lean, stringing close to his body in a smooth, non-bulky way. The non-bulky muscling complements his shorter stature of five feet seven inches, without over whelming it with a mass amount of bulky muscle.
However slight he may appear, do not over estimate him for he has been known to throw a powerful punch. When he speaks, however hard he tries to dull it, his Irish accent is strong to dictate easily where he came from.
Stepping closer, one can take notice of the finer features of his face; the sharp featured, sun tanned face, loosing its baby-faced roundness. A straight nose sits between two grey/blue eyes that always seem to glint with some unsaid comment. His jaw line is strong, and ties neatly into his neck and leads to his firm shoulders and muscled torso. Legs are a bit on the longer side, but built for running distances or lightly stepping about.
His normal wardrobe consists of loose fitting, long sleeved button up shirts in either greens or blues with the rare white on special occasions. He favors darker hued cotton/canvas blend pants over the stiffer material of jeans. Upon his feet are usually worn leather boots he ‘happened’ to come across on someone’s back porch when he first arrived in the States.
( THE INSIDE )
( LIKES ) -Playing the violin; Horses and in more particular riding, racing and general care; The sharp smell of Mint; Good game of cards; Gambling ( DISLIKES ) -Self Absorbed folk; Cherry pies ; Mistreatment of horses; Loosing when Gambling; Rocks in his boots ( STRENGTHS ) -Ability to Run far and fast; Natural Horseman; Boxing; Pick pocketing ( WEAKNESSES ) -Lacking the Ability to Attract Women; Inability to refuse to gamble/race/box/play cards/steal for profit; Will do anything for his first kiss from the opposite sex; born exaggerator ( DREAMS ) -Live without worry of being condemned for his crimes -Owning his own horse farm -Start a family ( GOALS ) -Get over his addiction to gambling -Successfully raise quality horses -Receive his first kiss from a girl -Find a stable job ( FEARS ) -Being deported back to Ireland -Being hung for thievery -Never kissing a girl before he dies ( OVERALL ) Luke is a bit of a quirky character, whether or not you take this positively or negatively is your choice.
He is a bit of a secretive person, not liking many to get evolved in his business due to a bit of fear of disappointing or hurting whom ever he allows to get close. He loves playing the violin but only in secrecy, knowing he may be judged for playing such a ‘girly’ instrument.
He plays the hard edged, no care in the world figure often reacting with a fist instead of a well thought out idea. He plays out that he would rather drink, gamble, steal and sit out with outlaws than sit fashionably by the side of a young lady and hold some respected conversation.
Underneath the play act of aloof, blood thirsty brute is a an honest to god, timid creature. He is literate, knowledgeable about everything equine and an beautiful musician. He much rather sit idly and enjoy the night air then sneak around and steal. Though his lust for a good fight is apart of his unmasked nature, it’s the boy in him needing a outlet for pent up anger at life.
( THE PAST )
( MOTHER ) Layla McKillian ( FATHER ) Cole McKillian ( SIBLINGS ) none ( OTHER IMPORTANT PEOPLE ) at the current moment, none ( HOMETOWN )Ashbourne, Ireland ( CURRENT HOME ) Lincoln County ( OVERALL ) Born in a small village, on the outskirts of the little quaint city of Ashbourne, Ireland, life seemed to hold nothing but simplicity for the young McKillians with the addition of their son, if they had been suitable parents. His mother had been far from loyal to his father, and whether Cole was truthfully his biological father is a disputed manner. Cole had always been loyal to his gambling on horse racing, rigged card games and the like. He spent every penny he earned on the gambling and the alcohol to fuel the nonsense activities.
At a young age, Luke took on odd jobs to buy himself a bit of bread to sustain on, and give the rest to his ‘run away’ fund he hid in a small pill box under his mattress. Wandering the streets looking for odd jobs led him to pick up a variety of talents; pick pocketing, wood carving, violin playing, stitching minor lacerations, and his most favored; horse riding. He landed himself a minor job exercising racehorses at the local track in Ashbourne. He absolutely adored the four legged beasts. Whether is was their stamina, heart, or their simple need to trust in someone, very much like himself, he wasn’t sure, but they became his passion.
At fourteen years of age, on a fortunate night as he and several other teen boys robbed a wealthy merchant the local authorities were informed. Eight of the ten boys escaped that night, the slowest two arrested. Over the next few weeks one by one seven of the escapees were caught from the local spotting the wanted pictures and turning them in. One remained, and he was scared to death for from what he had heard, those caught were to be jailed until bail was met, which was likely to be never for they were either orphans or like in Luke’s case had parents who could care less what happened to their children. Luke lived in fear for a year before finally taking the leap to run away form his homeland.
Stowing away on a ship proved difficult but he managed, and arrived in New York City with nothing but a few dollars, his violin which had lifted off of a traveling salesman a few years back, and the clothes on his back. He wandered the big city streets for a year, browsing with the local thieves and gambling on back street races and boxing matches. He earned a reputation of a known thief and vicious fighter and a warrant on his arrest. Growing weary of being arrested he wandered away from the big city, towards the less inhabited west and found himself in Lincoln County.
